Suddenly, they saw a large bear approaching them. One of the friends at once climbed a nearby tree. But the other one did not know how to climb. So being led by his common sense, he lay down on the ground breathless, pretending to be a dead man.

The bear came near the man lying on the ground. It smelt his ears and slowly left the place. "This situation is a cause for concern,” he said. “It appears the country’s younger generation is uneducated about the health risks of smoking.”

Kapoposang

Kapoposang is one of the largest of the Spermonde Islands, around 70 km northwest of Makassar, South Sulawesi. Kapoposang covers an area of around 50.000 hectares and is inhabited by around 100 families. Several other islands, both inhabited and uninhabited, lie near Kapoposang. The larger ones include Papandangan, Kondongbali, Suranti, and Tambakulu.

Kapoposang and the nearby islands were declared a Nature Tourism Park by the Departement of Forestry in 1999. Diving has been an important activity at Kapoposang. There were so few local divers at the time, and because of the distance from other well-known diving areas in Indonesia, Kapoposang has basically remained a secret.
The best time to visit Kapoposang is between April and November, when the seas are calm, the weather favorable, and the wind less fi erce than in the other months. The trip takes two hours by speedboat; the ocean breezes help to cool your skin in the hot morning sun. As you approach Pulau Kapoposang, you see the deep blue water, which suddenly meets an expanse of coral reefs between extensive shallows with white sands in the seabed. Sea grass also grows lushly near the shore. The sea bed at Kapoposang has a unique composition; near the island are some quite shallow contours, and then suddenly steep underwater cliffs leading to seemingly endless depths. The water is very clear, you can expect underwater visibility of over 15 meters – the ideal condition for divers.

The government should provide rehabilitation Program for Drug Users

Drug users are actually ill people who need help. Rehabilitation is one of the main things they should get. Instead of punishing drug users in prisons, the government should provide rehabilitation for them.

Most users are actually victims of persuasive peddlers and they suffer from consuming the drugs. Therefore, by rehabilitating them, we are actually helping them out from traps, which they might accidentally step on.

If we only arrest drug users and send them to jail, this doesn't solve the problem as drug users will still be addicted unless proper rehabilitation is imposed to them. Providing rehabilitation programs for drug users and forcing them to participate in the programs is better than only arresting them and doing nothing to their illness. Only drug dealers, traffickers, and wholesalers should be imprisoned.

Should Americans be forced to Public Transportation?

First, let me define what the question is and isn’t asking. It isn’t asking if we should we all abandon cars right now, nor is it asking if we should abandon them completely, nor is it asking if every American should do so. It is asking whether some Americans should have to take public transit some of the time, and I would say yes.

Oil use and pollution aside, in some cities like Los Angeles and New York there just isn’t room for any more roads, so in order for large cities to grow, they need more people to take public transit or risk permanent traffic jam. One bus can safely hold 40 people so even at half capacity that’s nearly 20 cars’ worth of space in traffic cleared up, and nearly 20 parking spaces that  don’t need to build.

There are a lot of people that can take with transit little inconvenience but simply don’t because they never have in the past. If residents in areas with plenty of transit had to buy transit passes as part of their property taxes then they would have little excuse not to bus occasionally. QA number of universities already bundle a ‘U-Pass’ with their tuition feeds, forcing their students to take the bus. When given the change the majority of those students have voted to keep these programs.

A similar system in apartments where a portion of the tenants are not issued parking spaces in exchange for a discount on their rent would also be community car to several apartment tenants that arrange a schedule for the car, and this program gets many positive reviews.

Berries

Blueberries, cranberries, and huckleberries and related plants have been found to contain resveratrol, a potential anti-cancer agent, according to Agricultural Research Service (ARS) scientists who made the discovery. This new finding from ARS adds to previous research by other scientists who found that dark-skinned bunch grapes contain resveratrol.

Using chemical identification procedures, the team of scientists measured the resveratrol content of 30 whole fruit samples of blueberry, cranberry, huckleberry, and related plants. The samples represented five families and 10 species of Vaccinium fruit. They also measured resveratrol in the skin, juice/ pulp, and seed samples of the muscadine grape. Because of its important biological properties, resveratrol has been examined extensively in grapes. Studies showed the compound protects the grapes from fungal diseases. It also provides health benefits for consumers by reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. The compound’s anticancer potential warranted is the examination in other fruits.

The team’s studies showed that several fruit samples of Vaccinium contain varying amounts of the compound. Analysis of the extracts of the skin, juice/pulp, and seed of muscadine grapes showed that the concentration of resveratrol more Vaccinium and muscadine sample is continuing. The new data could help build a foundation for increasing resveratrol in those berry and grapes crops that are important to many small farmers. Future research goals will include enhancing the production of resveratrol in selected species.
