Definisi

Conditional Sentences adalah kalimat yang menyatakan kondisi atau syarat tertentu yang harus dipenuhi agar suatu kejadian atau tindakan dapat terjadi.

Jenis Conditional Sentences

1. Zero Conditional: Menyatakan kebenaran umum atau fakta ilmiah.

- Struktur: If + Present Simple, Present Simple

- Contoh: If you heat water, it boils.

2. First Conditional: Menyatakan kemungkinan yang akan terjadi di masa depan.

- Struktur: If + Present Simple, Future Simple

- Contoh: If it rains, I will take an umbrella.

3. Second Conditional: Menyatakan kemungkinan yang tidak realistis atau hipotetis di masa sekarang atau masa depan.

- Struktur: If + Past Simple, Would + Infinitive
