Dear Santi,
Thank you for your letter. Going to KepulauanSeribu for holiday sounds fun.
Actually we wanted to go to Bidadari Island but something happened. On the
night we were about to leave, our neighbor, Mrs. Rachma, called for help. She
is in a wheelchair now.
When my mother and I went to her house, we were socked. The house was very meeey. Her maid just returned to her village and Mrs. Rachma’s ten-year old twin daughters were too sick to clean the house. I helped to give the girls their medicine. I wiped their bodies with wet towels. My father helped vacuum the house. The whole week was spent helping Mrs. Rachma and her family.
That was how I spent the school holidays.
My parents said when someone needs our help; we have to help them first. We can
always go for a holiday some other time. It was a good experience. I’ll see you
soon.
Yours,
Fatma
